SAVE BRIDGE
In Western Zagreb the existing Save bridge had reached its capacity limits, it was thus decided to improve the city’s connection to the motorway. HASLINGER was commissioned to deliver the steel construction for the 330 metres long Save bridge, the individual spans of which amounted to 40+50+50+50+50+50+40 metres.
The bridge is designed as a traditional connecting bridge. During its overall construction time of only one year the supporting structure was realised almost without any interruption to traffic, with the grand opening taking place on 1 May 2006.
