RIDING STADIUM
The riding stadium in Aachen is not only a meeting point for the world horse riding elite at the annual CHIO, in 2006 it was also the venue of the show jumping world championships. Aachen symbolises tradition and perfection in this sport.
The requirements of the company running the operation were thus correspondingly high with regard to the stadium roof redevelopment and extension: The construction had to be as strut-free as possible, in order to allow the visitors an unimpeded view of the area. HASLINGER resolved this problem via a large-surface steel construction, which also held the capricious weather away from the equestrian sport fans.
