With the new Hall F, the architect Much Untertrifaller completed the ensemble of the Wiener Stadthalle created by the architect Roland Rainer.
HASLINGER STAHLBAU once again demonstrated its comprehensive expertise in hall construction by completing a sophisticated building with a hexagonal floor plan as a steel structure. The challenge was presented by the diverse requirements, such as platforms and cantilevered elements for offices, which had to be integrated into the load-bearing structure.
The city hall was built with steel girders in a geometrically complex frame structure, requiring several thousand square metres of fire protection coatings. For logistical reasons, the steel construction work was carried out in two stages and just-in-time. A task that HASLINGER STAHLBAU solved just as precisely as the numerous technical requirements.
