HASLINGER STAHLBAU built the load-bearing structure for the roof of a new cell production hall for Bosch Solar Energy AG in Arnstadt in Thuringia.
The two-bay hall with penthouses on the top level has a floor area of 252 m x 60 m and is 12 m and 19 m high respectively. The roof structure consists of trusses and purlins. Shed structures – used for the lights and as a bearing structure for photovoltaic elements – were mounted on the purlins. A supply plane of some 12,000 sqm was suspended from the trusses.
The load-bearing structure was assembled in just six weeks.
