HASLINGER STAHLBAU erected a new assembly hall at the new production and logistics site of Fronius GmbH in the Austrian town of Sattledt in only eight weeks.
The 216-metre-wide hall is divided into sixteen 12-metre zones and one 24-metre zone. The trusses are between 4.3 m and 7.5 m high. By connecting the roof trusses across the framework – one connection at the top and one at the bottom chord of the truss – two roof levels were created, each with a maximum height of 10 m. The resulting height difference ensures optimum lighting of the entire hall.
In the area of the office wing, two composite ceilings were installed in the 7.5 m high framework, efficiently integrating the necessary office space into the building.
