HASLINGER STAHLBAU carried out the steel construction work for the Igus GmbH hall in Cologne. Designed by a renowned British architectural firm, the hall stands out for its striking appearance and harmonious integration of the steel structure with the architectural specifications.
The hall is an impressive 300 metres long and 70 metres wide. Distinctive 32 metre high yellow pylons in combination with the tension rod system absorb additional loads and give the hall a futuristic look.
The design was carried out in close cooperation between the architects and HASLINGER STAHLBAU in order to fulfil aesthetic and functional requirements.
HASLINGER STAHLBAU supplied and erected the entire steel structure, including pylons, platforms, railings and tie rods, with the utmost precision in accordance with demanding design and load-bearing capacity specifications. This project demonstrates our commitment to the highest quality and innovative solutions in steel construction.
