Mercedes Kecskemet production halls

Project description

HASLINGER STAHLBAU was chosen to construct the hall roofs for the service centre, the skeleton and assembly hall, the crane girders in the pressing plant as well as various conveyer belt bridges for MERCEDES-BENZ.

The contract was the first of a total of three large projects for the automotive industry in Hungary. Due to the extremely short construction period, up to 70 fitters were in action at any one time. The specifications of the client, ZÜBLIN AG, and building owner were executed in exemplary fashion. Since 2012, 2,500 workers have been producing Mercedes A and B class models in the newly erected plant.
