Project description

A multi-storey car park for employees was erected on the grounds of voestalpine Linz in 2008. The five parking levels were implemented as a composite structure. The maximum span for the separate trusses was 16 m. The supports were optimised so as to result in a profile gap after each 2 levels.

This project  is the only parking facility in Austria through which a railway track passes. The fire protection classification required for this was implemented through use of heat assessment.

Other structures included in this project were a 45 m long connector bridge between the parking facility and the lift in the existing company building, as also the projecting roof for the entrance area.
