Project description

The existing Arsenal district heating plant in Vienna's 3rd district had to be rebuilt due to legal regulations. The planned heating plant consists primarily of two above-ground structures and an underground storage tank. Both high-temperature boilers provide the connected network with a heating output of 170 MW each.

The steel sub-construction of the facades of the larger structure was supplied by HASLINGER STAHLBAU. The steel construction was assembled on a facade surface of 5,300 m² up to a height of 30 m.

Detailed structural engineering and workshop planning were drawn up on the basis of the profile statics on site. HASLINGER STAHLBAU was also in charge of manufacturing, three coats of paint and assembly.
