Project description

The existing platform roofs on the station were built in 1992.

With the adaptation carried out in 2015, HASLINGER lengthened the existing roof of platform 4/5 by approximately 178 m. The new construction consists of 14 axes, i.e. 13 fields each measuring 13.20 m and 2 overhangs at the ends of the roofs of approximately 2.5 m and 5 m. There are 5 masts at the area of the new platform roof, which are routed through the roof using replacement constructions. The platform roof has a bent footprint and has a longitudinal gradient along the complete length.

The upper and peak lines remained live during the complete work. Due to this hindrance, the steel construction had to be assembled using a truck with a loading crane (Hiab) in cycles timed precisely to the minute on the basis of the overhead line switching. The precision of the prefabricated construction parts had to be 100%, because they could only be assembled when the power was off.
