Project description

HASLINGER STAHLBAU also played a significant role in the conversion of the St. Pölten train station in Lower Austria.

 

Some 10,000 sqm of new platform roofs were built in St. Pölten between 2008 and 2010. HASLINGER STAHLBAU provided the load-bearing structure, all platform roofs including cladding and the soffit lining made from aluminium composite boards.

 

The scope of work also included the station platform furnishings consisting of passenger waiting shelters, lift enclosures, stairways including cleaning trolleys, information display cases and the suspension structures for the guidance and video surveillance systems.
