HASLINGER STAHLBAU built the steel substructure for a photovoltaic plant on the multi-storey car park and roof of the City Center building located in Amstetten. The 240-to hot-dip galvanised steel structure was erected at a height of 20 m over the entire car park area. It forms the basis for the 4500 m² photovoltaic system with a total output of approx. 1400 kWp in the final expansion stage, which covers around 250-300 car parking spaces.
One particularly challenging aspect of the project was the speedy execution of the steel construction work without disrupting ongoing business inside the shopping centre. The tight space conditions in the centre of the city and the proximity to the main ÖBB railway line made assembly difficult.
HASLINGER STAHLBAU's experience and efficiency enabled the project to be realised successfully and on schedule, both from a logistical and technical point of view.
