For Expo 2002 in Lucerne, Switzerland, HASLINGER STAHLBAU erected three towers in Biel.
The towers stood on a wooden platform on poles in Lake Biel. After being pre-assembled in the harbour, the components were towed by a pontoon vessel to the exhibition site, where the final assembly took place. The transparent membrane covering had already been attached during the pre-assembly.
After the Expo had finished, the towers were dismantled. again.
