In Wittenburg, right between Berlin and Hamburg, HASLINGER STAHLBAU not only constructed the impressive indoor ski centre, but was also responsible as general contractor for the largest indoor ski facility in Europe.
The centrepiece of this facility is the indoor ski venue, where not only snowboarders can have fun in a FIS-compliant half-pipe. High-end insulation panels ensure first-class snow conditions at a mild air temperature -1°C. The general contractor contract also included a 120-room hotel as well as all catering facilities.
Today, this facility is known as the alpincenter Hamburg-Wittenburg.
