Germany | Rosenheim
The western bypass was built to relieve the centre of Rosenheim from long-distance traffic passing through the city in north-south direction. The bypass includes a highly complex composite steel bridge that crosses the Aicherpark area.
MCE GmbH commissioned HASLINGER STAHLBAU with the production of this composite steel bridge that is some 670 m long. The bridge was built in 2 sections, with one section designed as a cable-stayed bridge. The supporting structure of the bridge consists of longitudinal and transverse steel girders. The longitudinal steel girders are up to 32 m long and each weigh 32 tons.
