Austria | Predlitz
During the second phase of the Turrachbach flood defences project, a new bridge was built in the municipality of Stadl-Predlitz.
HASLINGER STAHLBAU was responsible for the design, construction (including protection against corrosion) and assembly of the bridge's steel structure. The bridge bearings were also part of the service. The steel structure of the bridge was constructed and coated by HASLINGER STAHLBAU in its own plant and delivered to the building site by means of special transport. The structure was assembled in just five days. After the steel structure was assembled, prefabricated concrete elements were installed. The road was then built using concrete produced on site. This enabled the compound effect between the steel and the concrete to be achieved.
