Austria | Serfaus
The new bridge connecting the district of St. Zeno to the centre of the town of Serfaus is a visual and technical highlight within the community.
The two A-shaped anchor pylons of the cable-stayed bridge span the 35 m deep Argebach ditch, which was difficult for pedestrians to bypass before the bridge was built. The steel structure is made of rolled sections and the pylons are made from round steel tubes. The steeply sloping terrain and the narrow space called for the utmost precise planning and execution of the assembly work.
