HASLINGER STAHLBAU was chosen to erect an airplane hangar for the Value Foundation at Klagenfurt Airport as a part general contractor. The project stands out because of its special geometric framework conditions.
This building project could be realised according to the client's ideas and wishes, thanks to the development of detailed architectural solutions because of the special demands placed on the structural strength and design. The geometric framework presented a special challenge: the maximum height of the building should not exceed 15 m and the maximum gate opening should not exceed 10 m in height and 67 m in length. The general contractor package also included the entire building envelope (roof, walls, windows, doors, gates, smoke ventilation), which was also planned and carried out by HASLINGER STAHLBAU.
