Austria | St. Veit/Glan
The car park was built as a composite steel structure in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Austrian Steelwork Association (Österreichischer Stahlbauverband) for open car parks.
The composite floors were built using the "Hoesch additive flooring" system. The free span of the steel girders is up to 17.2 m; the truss spacing was set at 5.4 m.
HASLINGER STAHLBAU was able to expand the car park from the top edge of the foundations, including the composite floor structures, with an upper concrete layer, roof cladding and facade cladding, the stairway towers with glass facades and the circular safety barriers on the parking deck in a short period of time.
Exactly four months after the contract was awarded, the car park was opened.
