The renovation of Wernstein station closed the gap in the development of the ÖBB Wels-Passau railway section.
The erection of the steel construction for the above-ground structures of the station was implemented by HASLINGER STAHLBAU. The partially pre-assembled steel structure was installed in an extremely short time window due to the tracks having to be blocked.
The tight assembly period meant that ten strong fitters were needed on-site for the implementation of this structure.
