A stadium for Graz.
In 1996 HASLINGER STAHLBAU was awarded the contract for the construction, delivery and assembly of the Arnold-Schwarzenegger-Stadium in Graz.
Due to the very limited space available, the positioning of the stadium was predetermined. The column-free construction of the spectator area and the filigree roof construction with umbrella-like elements posed a major challenge.
In December 2005, the stadium was renamed the UPC Arena and is now known as the Merkur Arena.
