The steel structure of the BW 10-1 flyover was successfully realised as part of the dual carriageway expansion and relocation of the B173 between Michelau and Redwitz.
The overall aim of the project was to optimise the transport links between the Kronach/Kulmbach region and south-east Thuringia and the federal trunk road network.
This measure is intended to ensure a sustainable improvement in local and supra-regional traffic conditions. The steel structure is a key element in the new infrastructure.
